›I collect the images that I find on the internet inside a folder on my computer. There are also loads of pictures of that sculpture by Canova. At some point, I recognized that I was particularly attracted to this neckline. It sparked something off before I could point out what exactly it was. I would go on to save the image. The flame, however, remains and continues to do its work. One thing leads to another: I transfer the whole thing into another dimension and realize that I want something to interfere precisely at the place that resonated with me.
